The Challenge

Shop Indoor Golf operates in one of the most commercially competitive verticals in US ecommerce, going head to head with large specialist retailers and big-box players for queries like golf simulators, golf launch monitors and dozens of related product and category terms.

A long-established ecommerce domain carried accumulated technical debt, indexing inefficiencies and weak or duplicated content patterns suppressing ranking potential.

Cannibalization between the homepage and core product category pages diluted equity and prevented the right URLs from ranking for commercial queries.

The authority profile needed strengthening to compete with large specialist retailers and big-box players at the top of the SERPs.

The Solution

We delivered a full deep-dive SEO audit covering technical, indexing, content, cannibalization, link profile and user engagement issues, then translated the findings into a prioritised roadmap and executed across all workstreams.

Our Strategy

The strategy for Shop Indoor Golf began with a full crawl and a deep-dive into Google Search Console data across both domain and URL properties.

We used SEO Stack to process the GSC data at scale, surfacing cannibalization patterns, query-to-URL mismatches, indexing issues and underperforming content clusters that would have been difficult to identify through manual review alone.

Once technical and indexing issues were ruled out and resolved, we moved into active query and page level analysis, identifying both current and legacy cannibalization and resolving each instance with a defined target URL.

From there we executed on content improvements, internal linking, link acquisition and user engagement optimization in parallel, with ongoing measurement against ranking and traffic KPIs in the US market.

The Goals

  • Grow organic rankings and traffic in the US market for golf simulators and related commercial queries
  • Resolve cannibalization between the root domain and core product categories
  • Fix technical SEO issues and clean up non-indexed page reasons
  • Build authority through targeted link acquisition
  • Improve user engagement and behavioural signals on key landing pages
  • Establish Shop Indoor Golf as a category-leading domain for indoor golf equipment in the US

SEO Strategies for Luxury Travel Brands

Affluent travellers face real decision fatigue when planning complex itineraries, and this fatigue pushes them toward highly structured queries instead: a full thought rather than a couple of keywords, something closer to "private Parisian townhouses with butler service" or "boutique hotels Amalfi Coast with private beach and concierge service."
