Challenge

The challenge was to help a UK arm of Lenovo to build a marketing hub promoting materials around SDI (software defined infrastructure) as well as other server level solutions. Assertive was tasked with planning, designing and building the marketing hub – but also to provide content, graphic design & new brochures.

Once the website was designed and built, we worked with Lenovo on the production of materials around the Nutanix & Lenovo collaboration as well as your vision your cloud, server brochures & more.

We then used PPC to market these materials as well as the development of an onward SEO strategy.

The Strategy

The strategy for Lenovo was to provide a platform to help distribute materials around various aspects of Lenovo SDI. During the campaign, we were to design numerous brochures covering a wide range of server & cloud infrastructure solutions. The strategy was for Lenovo to increase partner coverage increasing the uptake of SDI solutions, server infrastructure, cloud solutions and more.

The initial campaign after the materials were completed was to run pay per click to generate the first awareness and to promote the marketing hub.

From this – PPC data was collected and is being used as part of the forward SEO campaign to generate traffic around SDI / cloud based solution searches.

We’re proactively working now to launch the SEO strategy which will help drive additional brochure downloads & increased awareness & engagement.
