The Challenge

Casino affiliates have been hit harder than most niches by the combined impact of HCU, AI Overviews on informational and comparison queries, and continued tightening around YMYL content and link signals in the gambling space.

Sustained losses spanned multiple content segments, with longer-form content failing to retain users and legacy pages dragging on overall site quality signals.

The existing link building and earning strategy was not keeping pace with the level of authority required to compete at the top of casino affiliate SERPs.

HCU impact had to be cleanly separated from AI Overview suppression and engagement-driven decline to build a recovery plan focused on the right levers.

The Solution

We delivered a focused recovery audit structured around the failure modes evident in Casinofy's data, with affiliate landing pages assessed against casino-specific E-E-A-T benchmarks rather than generic criteria.

Our Strategy

The strategy for Casinofy was to work backwards from the loss data to isolate root causes before recommending fixes.

We started by extracting GSC data across domain and URL properties and processing it through SEO Stack to segment loss patterns: HCU-style site-wide and segment-specific declines, AI Overview suppression on informational and comparison queries, and engagement-driven ranking decay on longer-form content.

The affiliate landing page audit was run against a casino-specific framework covering first-hand testing evidence, named author and fact-checker credentials, license verification, responsible gambling integration, bonus accuracy, willingness to publish negative reviews and depth of jurisdiction-specific information.

The engagement and retention layer used behavioural data to identify where longer-form content was failing readers and how that mapped to ranking suppression. Legacy content was reviewed at scale, with each underperforming URL assessed for consolidation, rewrite, prune or noindex.

The link review covered both active building and passive earning, with recommendations focused on the topical authority and editorial signal mix that casino affiliate SEO now requires. Everything was consolidated into a prioritised recovery roadmap focused on the highest-impact moves first.
