I.e. a poorly performing keyword which has a very high CPC and low quality score and relevance to the ad / ad group and campaign could be eating up say 10% of the ad group spend whilst delivering poor results, the reports would highlight this so that the keyword could be paused or removed allowing the 10% to be reallocated to high performance keywords.
Report data is generally used to report on spend, return on investment, click volumes, impressions, cost per click (average, peak and low), generate monthly performance reports and more.

Why pay per click reporting is so important
Pay per click reports are important because they allow for the analysis of campaign performance, they also help towards calculating return on investment and return on ad spend. The reports can highlight areas of the entire pay per click campaign that are working well and areas which are weak, this is an important step for campaign optimisation.
Currently, over 7 out of every 10 pay per click users / businesses do not fully understand the campaign performance or how the spend has worked for them which is why pay per click reporting is incredibly useful.
What do the reports show?
The reports provide an overview of the entire pay per click campaign including spend, clicks, click through rates, quality scores, conversion data (if available), display impressions, cost per click rates and much much more. These reports can also be tailored depending on a clients requirements.
How long do they take to generate and how are they provided?
Reports can take anywhere between 5-7 days depending on the notice provided, we offer an express service which costs an extra £35 on top for a 24 hour delivery. The reports are provided in PDF / WORD format and usually include spreadsheets with campaign data.
