Since beginning work on the Snowfinders website, we have had to overcome numerous obstacles with the websites structure, content management system and the fact that the company who built it charge over £90 per hour for additional changes.

We had been limited to items we would like to have changed including URL rewriting, re-directs and other technical aspects.

Even with the scenario set, we have managed to achieve some excellent positions for valuable keywords which have resulted in significant traffic increases. Snowfinders are a valued client here at Assertive-Media. We have provided a full website design and development service for Snowfinders. From the initial project outlay, we provided an array of designs and worked with the client to establish a finalised design.

The design stage also included website schematics which provided an overview of the websites layout, structure and usability.

After the website design had been established, we then begun to integrate the new design onto a powerful content management system that gives the client full ownership of the website.

After the development stage had been completed, we then begun to optimise the new website structure by implementing processes such URL rewriting, canonical tag setup, tailored title and descriptions, proper header usage, content integration and lots more.

The website is not only built on a new, highly powerful content management system, it also includes powerful database functionality. Snowfinders new website is due for release early March 2012.

Our long term client, the “Michael J Alexander Group” have commissioned us to re-design and re-develop their websites into a new modern system with a content management system and new functionality.

Assertive-Media have worked with the client to produce a new clean and clear set of financial templates which are being mapped onto a new content management system and website framework.
The client has requested new functionality including improved web forms, social media integration, 3rd party tools and financial calculators, feeds, user management and lots more.

Work began in January 2012 and is scheduled for completion in March 2012 from project start to finish. We have worked hard to deliver high quality work in a short time span in order to gain traction with the websites SEO profile as quickly as possible.
The project involved various designs, and drafts being provided, before a final design was chosen. This stage also included design schematics which took into account the layout and positioning of website elements.

The new websites will be released throughout March 2012 rolling out onto a new and user friendly content management system.

Our client RCH Carpets required a very small and basic website for their carpet fitting business. With a very limited budget they commissioned us to put together a very simple website for them.

The design was based around their specification as was the layout and content. Assertive-Media quickly produced the website and undertook some basic marketing using Pay Per Click.

The website has basic features, and includes a video we produced for them, along with content produced by us internally.

Since having the work undertaken, RCH Carpets have benefited from enquiry generation through the website rather than relying on conventional printed media i.e. Yellow Pages and public directories.

The following achievements are for pay per click and improved conversions/enquiries as a result of Assertive-Media’s pay per click service.

For Hypoxi Studio Barnet, we have taken over their pay per click to help reduce costs and improve click through rates, conversions and CPA’s (cost per acquisition). Their spend had to be reduced in order to become more profitable, at the same time the demand for new business grew.

Assertive-Media helped by identifying new keyword opportunities with higher levels of search traffic and lower competition levels. With this data we also looked at how relative the keywords were to the website and products to ensure the maximum level of visitor retention.

Another task we undertook was the creation of landing pages with tailored content and keywords for opportunistic keywords. Having tackled the key areas of pay per click campaign setup, management and landing pages, we saw an increase in traffic with a lower daily cost.

Other improvements included on-going keyword analysis to find more and more keywords yielding good opportunities. At the same time, any underperforming keywords were removed from the ad group/campaign.

Key achievements include:

• 40% reduction in spend with a 28% increase in daily traffic
• Reduction in CPA from £1.45 average to £0.68
• Increased visitor time on site by + 2 minutes (Average)
• Increased conversions by 34%
• Improved quality scores for main landing pages and auxiliary landing pages
• Better ad circulation & ad rotation
